Canadian Intimacy Professionals
The National Society of Intimacy Professionals (NSIP) is an emerging member collective of Canadian intimacy professionals working in nationally and internationally who have come together as a community to share resources, network with industry partners, train new intimacy professionals and advocate for national intimacy standards. As a not-for-profit society, NSIP is passionate about elevating the intimacy craft through an artistic, professional, and inclusive lens.
Empowerment. Communication. Professionalism. Integrity. Empathy. Celebration.
- Empowering and developing policy change with our industry partners and government for intimacy in the arts.
- Workshops and free community forums for Intimacy Professionals to evolve their learning and participate in lateral leadership
- Outreach & training internationally to creative teams in all arts sectors where performers work
- Educational presentations and workshops on intimacy in performance for private groups, schools, industry partners, educators and the public.
We gratefully acknowledge that The National Society of Intimacy Professionals lives and operates across Turtle Island, both on treaty lands and unceded territory.
As part of being an inclusive society, we actively work towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, cultures, and artists and are committed to supporting the decolonization and un-settled practices of performative art forms across Turtle Island.
