About Us

NSIP About Us Intimacy Professionals

Our Purpose: that guides us

A National Society that creates a community to empower artists of all levels and disciplines to safely and courageously create physical and emotional intimacy scenes. Our membership helps establish and promote National Standards while advocating for the inclusion of intimacy professionals within the entertainment sector.

Our Mission: drives us

The mission of the Society is to integrate essential intimacy professionals and protocols into industry workplaces through community, education, training, outreach, and advocacy.

Our Vision: our aspirations and long term goals

We envision an industry of empowered people who engage with intimacy choreography and performance innovatively, joyfully, compassionately, and ethically.

Impact: what matters, outcomes

To enrich our storytelling industries with better practices and collaborative professionals.  We connect and educate like-minded people; support diversification of intimate storytelling; integrate current mental health safety, care, and protocols into creative processes; and practice anti-oppression within our society and workspaces.

Get Involved!

NSIP is always looking for more passionate people committed to making change, participating on the board or committees, training and supporting outreach. We’d like to hear from you! Fill out our contact form and we’ll be in touch.
